UBL Bank, one of Pakistan’s largest financial organizations, needed to replace an outdated LAN that was still based on old Nortel switches and limited 10/100 access. Huawei was brought in to help UBL build a modern campus network with 10G backbone support, high availability, strong security, and easier management across its head office and associated buildings.

Huawei implemented a campus LAN solution using S5300, S9300, and S6700 Layer 3 switches, along with Huawei eSight for centralized network management. The new design delivered gigabit access for end users, a scalable and reliable architecture, simplified operations, and readiness for future services such as video calling and IP telephony, improving UBL’s overall service quality and network resilience.
