Union National Bank (UNB), a leading UAE bank with branches, ATMs, and international expansion plans, was struggling with unstable ATM networks, frequent failures, and high maintenance costs. To address these challenges, Huawei provided the USG2110-A-GW-W unified security gateway/firewall to help modernize and stabilize UNB’s ATM connectivity.

Huawei implemented USG2110-A-GW-W gateways inside ATMs, using multiple links such as 3G, ADSL, and E1/FE with IPSec VPN and dual-link redundancy to keep ATMs connected to the data center.
