Bank Alfalah Limited, one of Pakistan’s largest banks with more than 500 branches across multiple countries, wanted to upgrade its enterprise communication and collaboration environment. The bank needed a more open, IP-based system that could evolve smoothly, integrate with existing endpoints, and deliver a better voice and HD video experience for faster, more effective collaboration.

Huawei implemented a converged IP telephony and videoconferencing solution using products such as the U1900 IP PBX, MCU VP8650, SMC2.0 management system, IP phones, and multiple video terminals. Huawei’s solution integrated existing voice and video systems into a single conferencing environment, improved user experience with strong audio/video quality features, and reduced CAPEX through compatibility with current infrastructure.
