Associated, a Midwest-based material handling and integrated supply chain solutions provider with more than 450 employees across nine locations, needed a better way to train remote technicians. Its quarterly, instructor-led safety sessions were difficult to scale, and the company wanted a mobile-friendly, turnkey learning management system with robust safety and compliance content. HSI was selected after Associated tested several platforms and found HSI’s LMS and course library to be the best fit.

HSI provided Associated with an LMS that included access to more than 500 courses, strong reporting and scheduling tools, email reminders, and the ability to upload internal SCORM-compliant training. The platform worked well on laptops, tablets, and smartphones, enabling training in the field and on each employee’s own schedule. As a result, Associated improved training efficiency and retention, assigned new technicians about 30 courses in their first 30 days, and saw a downward trend in lost work days compared with 2016.
