Utility co-op improves workflows, streamlines equipment maintenance, and improves safety with the HSI EHS Platform

Electrical District No.3 (ED3), a 120‑employee utility in Maricopa, Arizona, faced inconsistent, paper‑based reporting across departments for inspections, incidents, and maintenance that led to transcription errors, delayed safety reporting, and slow equipment repairs. To standardize workflows and provide a configurable, easy‑to‑use system for field techs and managers, ED3 selected HSI’s EHS Platform.

HSI implemented the EHS Platform with customizable checklists, workflows, asset tracking, automated notifications, and OSHA‑ready reporting, enabling real‑time incident tracking and streamlined maintenance requests. As a result, ED3 cut work order times in half, saved hundreds of person‑hours per month, reduced equipment downtime, improved response times and customer satisfaction, and achieved fewer data entry errors using HSI’s solution.
