National door and dock provider finds reduced TRIR and reduced claims with EHS solution as they overhaul internal programs

DH Pace Company, a national commercial and residential door and dock provider with ~3,300 employees across 60 locations, was struggling to scale its safety and compliance programs as it rapidly grew its workforce, fleet and client complexity. Managing safety with notes, Excel, SharePoint and email left gaps for DOT, FMCSA and OSHA requirements, so DH Pace Company chose HSI’s configurable EHS platform (11 EHS modules) to replace fragmented tools and drive a broader culture and process overhaul.

HSI delivered a single, integrated “safety center” (API-integrated into DH Pace Company’s systems) to manage audits, checklists, claims, fleet management, driver qualification files, training and more, with dashboards for all 3,000+ users. The changes produced measurable impact: TRIR fell from 4.8 to 1.46, inspections/citations and fines were reduced, oversight of 1,700 vehicles improved, administrative burden decreased, and DH Pace Company became more competitive for large contracts.
