Large Regional Healthcare System - Customer Case Study

Large Regional Healthcare System was facing complex scheduling and rising costs for CPR and first-aid training after changes by their previous provider. They engaged HSI—via the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) training program—to deliver online Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses and a learning management system to reduce training time and administrative burden.

HSI converted the system to an ASHI Training Center within a week and deployed ASHI’s online courses and LMS, giving administrators control over scheduling, tracking and reporting. The shift produced about $2 million in annual savings (including supplies, student materials and paid training time), shortened testing time (from up to two hours to about 45 minutes), and received positive staff reviews for ease of use and course quality.
