Hazard Construction, one of San Diego’s largest general engineering contracting firms with more than 150 employees across multiple job sites, needed a better way to manage safety training. After evaluating several online training vendors, including ClickSafety, JJ Keller, and 360training, the company chose HSI and its Safety and Compliance online training content library delivered through the HSI Learning Management System (LMS).

HSI implemented an online learning and safety training system that replaced much of Hazard Construction’s in-person training across locations. The results were significant: the workplace reached 722 days incident free, employees reported they were genuinely learning from the courses, and the company saved money that was reinvested in PPE such as safety glasses, vests, and molded ear protection.
