BESIX, a global construction and development group with more than 11,000 employees across 26 countries, faced fragmented EHS processes—paper forms, emails, and siloed spreadsheets—that undermined data integrity, made reporting unreliable, and prevented company-wide trend analysis. Seeking a configurable, multilingual, and user-friendly solution that could scale across complex international projects, BESIX selected HSI’s EHS Platform to replace disparate tracking systems.

HSI implemented a personalized platform for BESIX called OASIS, standardizing data across 580+ projects in 18 months with more than 1,400 active users and 23 launched modules (content in English, Dutch, Portuguese, and French). The HSI solution delivered ISO 45001/9001/14001 compliance, centralized reporting, 60+ outbound feeds and multiple integrations, increased incident and observation reporting (enabling proactive risk reduction), supported ESG reporting for tenders, and produced time and cost savings through improved adoption and self-service configuration.
