Cogent, an employee‑owned company that sells and services pumps and rotating equipment for water/wastewater and industrial applications, struggled with manual tracking of training, time-consuming reminders, and inconsistent administration across its nationwide workforce. To address this, Cogent partnered with HSI to deploy HSI’s Safety Training content integrated into their existing Ascentis platform.

HSI delivered up‑to‑date, engaging e‑learning courses and integrated them into Cogent’s LMS, simplifying completion tracking and removing the administrative burden from HR. As a result, Cogent now trains 100% of its workforce on targeted safety topics, has seen measurable increases in employee engagement and manager-led training initiatives, and has moved closer to its goal of zero workplace injuries.
