Cayuga Health System, a two-hospital network serving the Finger Lakes region of New York, needed a fast, accurate safety data sheet (SDS) collection to meet OSHA HazCom and GHS requirements and ensure staff could quickly access SDSs. To account for all hazardous materials across its facilities and close gaps in compliance, Cayuga turned to HSI, deploying HSI’s SDS Management and On‑Site Inventory (OSI) services.

HSI’s OSI technicians used a proprietary mobile inventory application to catalog onsite chemicals, then implemented HSI’s SDS management system and trained employees on SDS best practices.
