Case Study: Fraser Health achieves rapid accreditation and data-driven compliance with HSI's configurable EHS platform

A HSI Case Study

Preview of the Fraser Health Case Study

Canadian healthcare company improves safety standards, meets accreditation needs, and streamlines HR with one flexible EHS platform

Fraser Health, British Columbia’s largest regional health authority serving about 1.9 million people and ~45,000 employees, needed to transition housekeeping from contractors to an in‑house team while meeting strict healthcare accreditation and audit requirements. To build training, mobile-accessible checklists, and real-time reporting for a dispersed workforce, they chose HSI and its configurable, mobile-first EHS platform (including checklists & inspections and the employee module).

HSI worked with Fraser Health to implement highly configurable checklists, visual/UV/ATP assessments, onboarding and 30/60/90‑day reviews, and a centralized employee record and reporting system, with implementation support and recorded training. The result: Accreditation Canada approval within three months of going live, 10x more data collected, some checklists expanded to 300 questions, streamlined HR access to one-source employee records, and faster, more actionable compliance reporting — all delivered via HSI.
