The customer, Sibomat, a timber frame construction specialist, faced the complex architectural challenge of designing and producing the unique in-fill walls for the curved and elliptical Hôtel de Police de Charleroi. This required creating a design with beams on elliptical curves and angled on three different axes, making every individual beam unique. To achieve this, they turned to the vendor, hsbcad, utilizing its flexible design tools.

Using hsbcad, Sibomat was able to design the intricate components. The software's automation allowed for the production of every unique beam entirely on Uniteam CNC equipment, with placement onsite controlled by laser equipment. This implementation by hsbcad saved Sibomat time and money by reducing manual input and faults in both the drawings and the production process, fundamentally changing their workflow for the better.
