The customer, Offsite, a construction company, partnered with the vendor, hsbcad, to overcome the challenge of delivering 23 townhouses within a tight, 6-month schedule during the Covid pandemic. The project required the rapid design, manufacture, and erection of complete closed-panel timber frames, including walls, floors, and roofs.

Using the hsbcad software, specifically its in-depth wall detail builder and its DSP function for floors and roofs, Offsite was able to create a complete set of homes with windows and cladding integrated into the design. This solution from hsbcad enabled the team to build 8 homes in just 21 days. The project's success was recognized when it became the Runner Up in the 2021 UDIA Awards for Excellence for Affordable Development.
