Hetebrij Prefab, a construction company, was tasked by its client to build De Groene Koploper, a sustainable and circular business complex in Hattem, Netherlands. The project required the use of timber frame construction, Cross Laminated Timber (CLT), and minimal steel, presenting a challenge in the complex detailing of these material connections. Using hsbcad's tools, Hetebrij Prefab could easily elaborate on the complex connection details for the combination of timber, CLT, and steel. An additional advantage was that the software's broad export options allowed technical data to be seamlessly shared with other subcontractors, facilitating smoother collaboration.
