A hsbcad Case Study
Hasslacher, a timber construction specialist, faced the challenge of supplying high-precision, pre-fabricated timber elements for the HoHo Wien project, one of the world's tallest wooden skyscrapers. They utilized hsbcad's software solutions to design and engineer 777 pieces of glued laminated timber beams and cross-laminated timber walls, which required double surface treatment and pre-installed windows.
hsbcad provided the essential design and detailing tools that enabled Hasslacher to deliver these complex components ready-made to the construction site. This streamlined process ensured the highest quality and strength for the timber elements, directly contributing to the successful and efficient erection of the 84-meter-tall, 25,000 m² gross floor area building.
