The customer, a medium-sized company, faced the challenge of efficiently processing 500 annual applications for its 14 commercial and technical training positions. Their goal was to move beyond relying on school grades for pre-selection and to better identify suitable apprentices, including those not eligible for university study. To address this, they partnered with vendor HR Diagnostics to implement an online testing solution.

HR Diagnostics implemented a three-stage selection process using its JOBMATCHER S configuration and a suite of online tests (Multinorm) for pre-selection. This solution verified applicant suitability and provided appreciative feedback with development recommendations for rejected candidates, aiming to keep them as future customers. The results of the online tests were later confirmed through more extensive on-site testing and work samples.
