Gaining the next generation of masters in technical production

HR Diagnostics worked with Leading Textile Company, a textile production plant in Germany with around 3,500 employees. The company faced high turnover among master craftsmen because larger nearby employers offered more attractive pay, creating staffing shortages that could restrict production. HR Diagnostics supported the company with its JOBMATCHER S online assessment, including an invitation function for the test.

To address the issue, HR Diagnostics carried out detailed requirement analyses for different master craftsman roles and developed a tailored test procedure. The process also included the multimodal interview MMI® and a management roleplay to identify suitable candidates for a master’s development program. This created a pool of potential master craftsmen for ongoing training and helped smooth future fluctuation peaks, although the case study does not provide specific numerical results.
