Toyota Material Handling, a manufacturing company with 1,001–5,000 employees and more than 230 North American locations, needed an employee experience platform to improve communications, recognition, and connection among associates. After their previous communication app proved non-interactive and prone to login issues, they selected HR Cloud’s Workmates platform to address those engagement gaps.

HR Cloud implemented the Workmates solution (part of its HR suite), offering mobile/desktop commenting, company branding, integrations, and a peer-to-peer Kudos module. Toyota Material Handling reports stronger connections across locations, increased peer recognition and overall engagement—especially through Kudos—and good feature value for the price within months of launch. HR Cloud continues to evaluate client suggestions such as post scheduling and clearer onboarding touchpoints.
