S&B Engineers and Constructors LLP (S&B India), a leading engineering and design firm for refining, petrochemical, chemical, water treatment and pharmaceutical projects, was running a traditional HPE server + SAN VMware environment that began to struggle with growing, graphics‑intensive workloads. Space constraints, performance bottlenecks and an inadequate off‑site disaster‑recovery setup meant the company needed a scalable, future‑proof infrastructure for the next five years.

Working with partner Mm9, S&B India deployed HPE SimpliVity across three all‑flash nodes (two in Noida, one in Bengaluru), consolidating server compute, storage and ~25 VM‑based applications. The solution delivered centralized management, bandwidth‑efficient replication and instant recovery across sites (1 TB VM recoverable in ~60 seconds), and always‑on deduplication/compression that cut storage and backup needs by about 10x—improving performance, resiliency and business continuity.
