Redpagos, Uruguay’s leading consumer fintech with 500+ franchises and a popular mobile app, needed a more reliable, scalable infrastructure to handle peak volumes, support hybrid work, and comply with strict local data‑privacy rules that limited public cloud use. The company sought a “diagnostic” self‑managing solution to improve transaction performance, increase bandwidth and VDI capacity, and ensure business continuity across on‑premises and off‑site systems.

Working with Intec and HPE Pointnext, Redpagos deployed an HPE Alletra dHCI platform (Alletra 6030, ProLiant DL380 servers, StoreOnce backups) with HPE InfoSight and VMware to create a private cloud with a duplicate off‑site backup. The upgrade delivered faster VM provisioning and remote management, boosted bandwidth by more than 150%, more than doubled VDI capacity, improved customer transaction throughput, and strengthened continuity, security, and growth prospects.
