One Source Networks (OSN), an Austin‑based global communications provider for Fortune 1000 customers, needed a world‑class, highly available and scalable infrastructure to launch its Cloud Lync Enterprise (Microsoft Lync 2013) service across multiple Points-of-Presence while simplifying operations and reducing costs.

OSN deployed sixteen SimpliVity OmniCube CN‑3000 systems in a global federation managed from VMware vCenter, replacing complex SAN/server provisioning with a hyperconverged, modular 2U platform. The solution centralized management, reduced rack space and CapEx/OpEx, accelerated backups, cloning and DR with minute‑level RPO/RTO, improved application performance through inline deduplication/compression, and enabled rapid, global delivery of Cloud Lync and other services.
