Nuh Cement, a Turkey‑based global producer operating the largest cement facility in Europe, faced aging, siloed IT infrastructure with legacy servers and stand‑alone storage in a single data center. Backups and recoveries were slow and risky—restores could take hours or days—so the company launched a program to modernize infrastructure and improve disaster recovery.

After evaluating vendors, Nuh deployed SimpliVity OmniCube hyperconverged systems in a 4+2 federation (four CN‑3000 nodes in its primary site and two in a remote DR site), consolidating four racks into four 2U units and centrally managing them with VMware vCenter.
