Manufacture Belge de Chocolats gears up for growth by evolving its digital landscape

Manufacture Belge de Chocolats (MBC), a Brussels-based chocolate manufacturer spun out of Godiva in 2019, set out to launch its own brand and scale production for retail, private labels and large food customers. The divestiture left MBC’s lean two-person IT team having to replicate centralized services (ERP, security, product-spec management) while modernizing a paper-heavy, aging factory environment to support flexible batch sizes and faster, digitalized operations.

Working with Computacenter, MBC deployed HPE SimpliVity 380, HPE InfoSight and HPE Pointnext Tech Care to consolidate and modernize infrastructure. The migration was seamless for users, cut hardware needs to 25%, improved data storage efficiency by 50%, lowered power consumption, and gave the small IT team easier management and 24/7 support—freeing staff to focus on production optimization, IoT plans and growth.
