A HPE Simplivity Case Study
Riml is a family-run tourism business in the Tyrolean Ötztal operating hotels, guest houses, mountain cabins, restaurants and sports shops that rely on high-performance, always-available IT to serve guests and run POS, booking and accounting systems. As the business grew from a single-server setup, its aging infrastructure could no longer meet demands for availability, scalability and future expansion.
IT partner PEAKNET implemented an HPE SimpliVity 325 two-node hyperconverged solution (with HPE ProLiant DL325 servers, AMD EPYC processors and HPE StoreEasy NAS), migrating 25 VMs and moving to All‑Flash storage with 7 TB capacity and 2:1 data efficiency. The result is faster, more reliable centralized management, reduced footprint and costs, high data availability and a future-proof platform for new services and growth.
