Eubelius turns to HPE SimpliVity to scale VMware Horizon VDI deployment

Eubelius, an independent Belgian law firm with offices in Brussels, Kortrijk and Antwerp, was running out of capacity on a siloed, legacy infrastructure and relying on slow, tape-based backups while rolling out a VMware Horizon VDI initiative. The firm needed a scalable, high-performance VDI foundation and an infrastructure refresh to eliminate complexity, reduce costs and dramatically shorten recovery times.

Eubelius implemented HPE SimpliVity hyperconverged infrastructure—four 2U nodes in the primary data center plus a node in a secondary site—replacing two full racks of legacy equipment. The solution delivered integrated compute, storage and data protection, enabling VM clones and restores in seconds, cutting backup and recovery from hours to seconds, automating replication to the secondary site, and achieving 14:1 data efficiency to lower storage costs and eliminate tape-based DR.
