Wood & Grieve Engineers (WGE) is an Australian consulting firm with more than 430 staff across six offices and a centralised virtual environment (three Hyper‑V hosts running 55 VMs). When their aging HP SAN neared end‑of‑life it was already close to capacity and underperforming, so IT Manager Tom Campbell‑Clause evaluated replacements with help from reseller Portal IT.
