HPE Nimble Storage, HPE ProLiant servers provide improved performance and increased reliability

ABC Photosigns, an Australian commercial print and digital imaging company serving real estate clients, was hampered by an ageing SAN and dozens of physical servers that caused frequent downtime, poor performance and a broken disaster-replication setup. With 150 users relying on large, high-resolution image datasets, the company needed a reliable, easy-to-manage storage and virtualisation refresh to reduce outages and operational overhead.

Working with partner Computers Now, ABC migrated 64 TB of data to HPE Nimble Storage HF40, deployed three HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 servers virtualised on Hyper-V and added Aruba switches, consolidating 30 physical servers into 32 VMs. The new environment delivered faster, more reliable access, predictive management via HPE InfoSight, an 80% drop in help-desk tickets, dramatically lower energy use (projected annual savings near AUD $100k) and a single-admin, easily scalable infrastructure.
