Freight Mark Future Proofs Storage Capacity and Improves Application Performance with Nimble

Freight Mark is a Malaysian integrated logistics firm founded in 1987 with about 1,300 employees, providing transportation, freight forwarding and warehousing across the Asia‑Pacific. Rapid growth in customers and freight volumes left its HP SAN maxed out at 4.8 TB in 2013, degrading application performance and forcing frequent storage upgrades that hampered productivity.

Working with Jardine OneSolution, Freight Mark deployed a Nimble CS220G SAN delivering 16 TB usable storage, thin provisioning and thin cloning; the migration took just over four weeks with no business disruption. The new platform improved application performance and staff productivity, extended refresh cycles from six to 18 months, and is expected to cut capex by about 500,000 ringgits while positioning the company for further regional expansion.
