City of Pueblo selects Nimble to enhance public safety

The City of Pueblo, Colorado selected HPE Nimble Storage to close an app-data gap in its legacy storage that was degrading application performance and putting public safety services at risk. After evaluating 11 vendors and testing multiple arrays, the IT team needed a solution to support more than 120 applications across departments—including 911 call dispatch, records management, and financial systems—in a virtualized environment.

Pueblo deployed Nimble’s Predictive Flash platform and All Flash Array with InfoSight predictive analytics and Timeless Storage support. The migration delivered a 3x increase in application performance, dramatically reduced recovery time from latency issues (protecting 911 responsiveness), improved performance across city-wide systems, and provided a lower total cost of ownership than competing all‑flash arrays.
