Walt Disney World ® Resort Properties share the magic of Wi-Fi for guest and Cast Member experiences

Walt Disney World Resort — home to more than 30,000 rooms and 70,000 Cast Members — needed a high-performance, secure indoor and outdoor Wi‑Fi network to deliver free, seamless connectivity across its properties. The resort required centralized management, location services and a scalable, future‑ready platform to support HD/4K streaming, mobile check‑in, tableside payments via MagicBands, and expanding IoT use cases.

Aruba deployed a location‑ready indoor/outdoor Wi‑Fi solution with Analytics and Location Engine, AirWave with Clarity for management, and ClearPass for authentication and policy enforcement. The rollout delivered consistent guest experiences (streaming and conferencing), enabled mobile check‑in and tableside payments, added wireless vending and laundry with card/Apple Pay, improved Guest Services, Housekeeping and Maintenance efficiency, and provided a foundation for next‑gen IoT and location services.
