Viparis, Europe’s leading conference and trade‑show host, runs 10 Paris venues, 800 events and welcomes over 10 million visitors a year. Faced with the need to provide reliable, high‑density Wi‑Fi—guaranteeing 2 Mbps per visitor and 8 Mbps for exhibitors for up to 20,000 concurrent users—Viparis also had to hide hardware within complex architecture, simplify guest access management, and build a platform to support IoT and analytics.

Viparis chose Aruba (HPE) to deploy more than 300 Wave 2 802.11ac APs with 7200 controllers, HPE switches, AirWave, ClearPass and ALE analytics. The rollout delivers site‑wide, load‑balanced coverage with guaranteed bandwidth, a discreet antenna design, granular management and presence data for business intelligence—giving visitors reliable connectivity today and a scalable platform for future venues and IoT services.
