A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
Landsec, a major UK shopping‑centre owner, refreshed the Wi‑Fi and network infrastructure across 12 centres to deliver fast, reliable guest connectivity, support short‑term tenant and event needs, and capture richer consumer insights while meeting GDPR and security requirements. The renewal covered about 320 access points and aimed to replace disparate site networks with a consistent, centrally managed solution.
Partnering with Aruba and KHIPU Networks, Landsec deployed a cloud‑native architecture (Aruba Central) with ClearPass, Palo Alto firewalls, UXI sensors and a managed service layer to provide two SSIDs (guest and secure tenant networks), centralized policy and automated provisioning. The result is seamless roaming and improved Wi‑Fi performance, flexible connectivity for tenants and events, anonymous AI‑driven customer insights for targeted marketing and operations, stronger compliance and a future‑proof platform for further digital services.
