The Wireless Advantage St George Christian School pushes the boundaries of traditional education

St George Christian School (SGCS) is a K–12 private school in South Sydney serving about 750 students and 100 staff with a mix of desktops, laptops, iPads and smartphones. Facing limitations from consumer-grade Wi‑Fi, the school needed a scalable, easy-to-manage enterprise network that provided reliable connectivity, flexible user-based policies, minimal supervision and room to grow its digital learning programs.

Working with Accucom, SGCS deployed Aruba’s AirWave management solution to gain user-centric visibility, AD single sign‑on and centralized control. The wireless footprint expanded from 10 to 45 access points (with more planned), delivering seamless roaming, simplified administration and new learning opportunities—interactive apps, collaborative outdoor work and Skype lessons—significantly advancing the school’s digital teaching and learning.
