A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
T.C. Pharmaceuticals (TCP) in Bangkok launched a digital workplace transformation as employees shifted from PCs to smartphones and tablets, creating a need to modernize legacy networks, provide seamless connectivity across offices and factories, support many mobile devices, and address security concerns. The company sought a solution that could deliver reliable, centrally managed wireless access and granular access control to keep pace with a more mobile workforce.
TCP deployed Aruba solutions—including AirWave, cloud and network controllers, 305 access points, ClearPass access control and Aruba VPN—to provide secure, anytime/anywhere access and separate corporate from personal devices. Within six months connectivity complaints dropped sharply, IT monitoring and maintenance costs fell, employee satisfaction and productivity improved, and the upgraded infrastructure positioned TCP for future smart manufacturing initiatives.
