Stuartholme School deploys Aruba Networks solution, allowing staff and students to embrace paperless learning

Stuartholme School is an independent Catholic day and boarding school for girls in Brisbane with about 650 students and 100 staff that runs an iLearn one‑to‑one Tablet PC program and a near‑paperless curriculum. The school needed a secure, always‑on wireless infrastructure that could support heavy concurrent use (600+ users), provide reliable coverage across classrooms, outdoor learning areas and boarding houses, and simplify device management and guest access.

Stuartholme implemented Aruba Networks’ wireless solution—initially 802.11n and later upgraded to 802.11ac with ~90 access points—and uses Aruba AirWave for centralized visibility and management. The result is high‑performance, secure Wi‑Fi across campus that supports outdoor learning and after‑hours boarding access, reduces technical support requests, helps staff locate misplaced tablets, and gives ICT the confidence to focus on new virtual classroom and collaboration initiatives.
