Case Study: Waldkliniken Eisenberg achieves seamless, secure mobile care and hotel‑like patient experience with HPE Aruba Networking

A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study

Preview of the Waldkliniken Eisenberg Case Study

Secure, fluid and mobile healthcare experience supports healing architecture at ground-breaking new hospital

Waldkliniken Eisenberg is a 128‑room, purpose‑built hospital in Thuringia, Germany, designed around “healing architecture” and a hotel‑like patient experience. The IT team needed a failsafe, enterprise‑grade network to deliver an uncluttered, mobile healthcare experience across the six‑floor campus, enforce robust access policies for multiple clinical teams, and provide a flexible platform for future digital services.

Aruba supplied a resilient wired backbone plus Indoor/Outdoor Wi‑Fi 6 & 6E access points, 7200 Series mobility controllers, Aruba switches, ClearPass policy management and AirWave monitoring. The result is seamless connectivity for clinicians (supporting bedside and courtyard care), improved productivity and digital traceability, streaming and app services for patients, data to drive service and facility improvements, and a clear roadmap toward intelligent building management.
