Preview of the Sanitas Case Study

Sanitas assures clinics of reliable, secure access to critical cloud applications with the Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN edge platform

Sanitas USA, a Keralty subsidiary with about 3,000 employees across roughly 60 U.S. clinics, runs nearly all clinical and business applications in the cloud. Legacy Cisco Meraki SD‑WAN lacked application awareness and granular telemetry, causing undetected packet loss, carrier brownouts, degraded VoIP and medical‑image access, and frequent manual, reactive WAN management that disrupted patient services.

Sanitas deployed the Aruba EdgeConnect SD‑WAN platform with Aruba Orchestrator (integrated with Palo Alto Networks Prisma) to enable application‑specific routing, multi‑circuit bonding with automatic sub‑millisecond failover, centralized QoS and zone‑based segmentation. The outcome: eliminated downtime at deployed sites, faster image loads and reliable VoIP, greatly improved visibility and troubleshooting, accelerated site deployment from ~25 to ~5 minutes, and secure, PCI‑compliant traffic segmentation.
