A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
La Grand Poste in Liège is a renovated 120‑year‑old landmark transformed into an 8,000 sqm creative hub housing start‑ups, coworking, event space, a food hall and a brewery. The challenge was to deliver a centrally managed, high‑performance and highly secure network across indoor and outdoor areas that supports a mix of tenants, thousands of daily visitors and the latest proptech — all while being operated by a small IT team and preserving tiered, policy‑based access.
Aruba’s Edge Services Platform delivered the solution: Wi‑Fi 6 indoor APs, rugged outdoor APs, controllers, switches, AirWave management, ClearPass access control, Location Services and BLE beacons to unify connectivity and IoT integration. The deployment provides secure, tiered access and seamless visitor experiences, underpins smart‑building and proptech adoption, supports 450 workers (and up to 3,000 daily visitors) with 95% coworking uptake, and creates a resilient, scalable, repeatable infrastructure that accelerates neighborhood rollouts and ecosystem partnerships.
