A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
Bryanston School, a historic 400-acre boarding school for 700 pupils and 180 staff, faced the sudden need to replicate its full academic and pastoral experience remotely when COVID‑19 forced lockdown. With just a month to prepare, leadership needed to preserve the school’s distinctive one‑to‑one tutoring, extracurricular life and parent engagement while redefining school boundaries to a global scale.
By leveraging an established Aruba networking platform (802.11ac APs, mobility controllers, campus switches, ClearPass, AirWave and VIA VPN) and rolling out new digital etiquette and teacher support, Bryanston streamed assemblies, ran high‑performance Teams/Zoom lessons and maintained secure remote IT management. The result: uninterrupted academic and pastoral continuity for 700 students worldwide, 93% parent satisfaction, new digital practices that will persist post‑lockdown and proven capability to deliver the Bryanston experience remotely.
