Case Study: Gesundheit Nordhessen achieves secure mobile-first care and accelerated MedTech adoption with HPE Aruba Networking

A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study

Preview of the Gesundheit Nordhessen Case Study

Promoting fresh thinking across healthcare

Gesundheit Nordhessen, a German healthcare provider, needed to modernize its digital infrastructure to support mobile-first clinical workflows, accelerate the adoption of MedTech and enable electronic patient records. The organization wanted to bring network management in‑house, segment traffic for different users and use cases, and ensure the security of medical, financial and personal data.

Working with partner IOK, the hospital deployed an HPE Aruba Networking solution — CX core and access switches, Wi‑Fi 6 access points, mobility controllers, AirWave and ClearPass — to create a centrally managed, policy-driven network. The new infrastructure delivers seamless Wi‑Fi handoffs, stronger security and simpler device management, enabling secure workplace mobility for clinical teams and a platform to trial new MedTech.
