A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
Amare, a new performing arts centre in The Hague that houses the Netherlands Dance Theatre, the Royal Conservatoire and the Residentie Orchestra, needed a secure, scalable digital platform to support everything from daytime public visits to 5,000+ evening audiences. The challenge was to deliver robust Wi‑Fi and segmented access across a seven‑floor building for artists, students, staff, suppliers and the general public while enabling hybrid events and protecting sensitive operations.
Using an end‑to‑end Aruba architecture — Wi‑Fi 6 access points, mobility controllers and conductors, CX core/access switches, ClearPass, AirWave, NetEdit and Dynamic Segmentation, delivered as a managed service — Amare now offers high‑performance, micro‑segmented connectivity for guests, employees and IoT. The network supports livestreaming and other digital touchpoints, enables secure multi‑zone access (including eduroam), simplifies smart‑building integrations, and creates a digital layer that extends Amare’s cultural reach.
