A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
Parade College, a Victorian all-boys Catholic school serving more than 1,800 students across two campuses, aimed to modernise learning by replacing computer labs with a 1:1 iPad program. The school faced an unreliable, low‑coverage legacy wireless network and needed a Mobility‑Defined solution capable of supporting 1,800 students, 250 staff and many concurrent devices.
After trials with partner MYCOM, Parade selected Aruba Networks and deployed 125 access points over the Christmas break, giving stable, high‑performance Wi‑Fi that supports over 1,900 devices simultaneously. The Aruba solution (with AirWave monitoring and planned ClearPass rollout) enabled the iPad program and eWorkspace adoption, shifted teachers to wireless‑first instruction, streamlined digital workflows and parental visibility, and delivered a dependable “set‑and‑forget” network that transformed teaching and learning.
