Hotel Sky is a South African budget-boutique hotel chain (founded 2019) offering “a four‑star experience at a two‑star price.” With two large properties and plans to expand to eight, the company needed a consistent, secure, high‑performance network that could support smart-hospitality apps, free guest Wi‑Fi and digital services while simplifying operations and enabling rapid scale with clear SLAs.

Hotel Sky deployed Aruba Unified APs and Core/Access switches managed via Aruba Central as a network‑as‑a‑service delivered by Bright Horse IT (zero‑touch deployment; currently 370 APs and 120 switches managed). The centralized, multi‑tenant platform reduced management effort and costs, enabled free high‑performance Wi‑Fi, app-driven self‑check‑in and digital keys, robot concierges, smart‑building and integrated services (CCTV, IPTV, kiosks), and provided a repeatable foundation for fast rollout of new properties.
