A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
NCC Construction Sweden, part of the Nordic construction and property developer NCC group, manages IT for roughly 700 offices across a large and mobile workforce, including 500 temporary site cabins. The IT team faced major challenges provisioning, securing and supporting a constantly changing mix of small and large remote offices while cutting costs and improving sustainability.
NCC deployed an Aruba wireless solution—controllers and Remote Access Points—to centrally provision campus and remote sites. The new approach eliminated most on-site setup, reduced capital costs by about 90% for temporary sites and 50% for new large offices, cut support to roughly five hours a week for 200+ sites, improved security and reliability, and made the network easier to reuse and more sustainable.
