MultiCare, a Tacoma-based, not‑for‑profit health system with four hospitals and 93 locations, rapidly grew its Wi‑Fi deployment to more than 1,000 access points supporting clinical devices, guest access and multiple SSIDs. After a merger brought in a second vendor’s infrastructure, the IT team faced a multi‑vendor WLAN with disparate tools and limited visibility into bandwidth, uptime and user sessions.
