Millennium Resort Mussanah assures first-class guest experiences through high performance Wi-Fi

Millennium Resort Mussanah in Oman is a 308-room resort with extensive facilities and 300 hectares of indoor and outdoor guest areas. The hotel needed a future-proof, high-performance and high-density Wi‑Fi solution that would provide 100% coverage with seamless roaming, secure connectivity for guests and staff, support for IoT room controls and wireless POS/telephony, and the flexibility to introduce new guest services.

The resort deployed Aruba enterprise hospitality access points (AP 303H wall units, AP 275 ceiling and outdoor units) and 7200 series Mobility Controllers to blanket guest rooms, public areas and outdoor spaces. The new network delivered stronger security and customizable configurations for events, enabled new wireless-based services, significantly improved coverage and performance (reducing helpdesk internet complaints), and cut costs by lowering expensive bandwidth requirements—while establishing a technology roadmap for future innovations.
