Case Study: AWL achieves secure, high-performance global collaboration with HPE Aruba Networking

A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study

Preview of the AWL Case Study

Machine manufacturer innovates and strengthens global productivity with robust network

AWL‑Techniek, a Dutch maker of industrial automation and robotics with global operations, needed a secure, high‑performance network to protect sensitive engineering IP while enabling collaboration across sites and workplace mobility for hundreds of engineers. The company required strong segmentation, centralized security controls and the ability to keep network expertise and control in‑house.

AWL implemented an Aruba‑based architecture (Wi‑Fi 6 APs, mobility controllers, core and access switches, ClearPass, AirWave and NetEdit) designed and deployed with partner Wentzo, including staff training. The solution delivered tighter user and device segmentation, simpler global policy management, reduced downtime via in‑flight updates, fast site migration and resilient, scalable infrastructure that secures intellectual property and supports future growth.
