Case Study: Verisk achieves unified, cloud-native SD-Branch and zero-touch global deployments with HPE Aruba Networking

A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study

Preview of the Verisk Case Study

Leading global data analytics company transforms infrastructure and experiences across 30 countries with Aruba SD-Branch and Central

Verisk, a global data analytics company with ~9,000 employees across 100+ offices in 30+ countries, faced a fragmented, acquisition-driven networking environment of legacy mainframes and siloed infrastructure that was slowing productivity and increasing costs. The company needed a unified “One Verisk” cloud-first architecture that preserved local control for roughly two dozen semi-autonomous business units while supporting rapid branch deployments and a growing number of IoT and cloud workloads.

Verisk implemented Aruba’s SD-Branch portfolio—Wi‑Fi 6 APs, 7000/7200 series gateways, virtual gateways, 2930F switches, Aruba Central and ClearPass—to centralize management, enable zero-touch branch rollouts, and integrate with AWS VPCs and Zscaler. Deployments shrank from days to hours, physical data centers began migrating to the cloud, role-based access preserved business-unit autonomy, and the consolidated platform cut TCO while delivering consistent, secure, “coffeehouse‑like” user experiences and improved operational agility.
