A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
Consulate Health Care, the sixth-largest post‑acute healthcare provider in the U.S., needed to replace aging wireless infrastructure to support hundreds of mobile staff devices and thousands of guest connections across more than 200 care centers in 21 states. The organization required a scalable, secure solution that could be rapidly deployed and centrally managed to protect patient data and improve clinical workflows.
Consulate deployed Aruba’s Instant APs (about 2,700), plus ClearPass for access control and AirWave for network management, with Remote Access Points for telecommuters. The zero‑touch, centrally managed rollout cut deployment time and WAN load, delivered secure BYOD and guest access, sped troubleshooting, and provided high‑performance, future‑ready Wi‑Fi that supports telehealth, EHRs and improved bedside care.
